Business Analyst

Salary: $45.00 to $50.00 hourly Description We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team in Southern California. In this long-term contract role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in marketing technologies, business systems, and technical documentation. Responsibilities • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications. • Partner with developers, system architects, and technical program managers to design and implement solutions that align with business objectives. • Conduct feasibility analyses to assess the technical viability of proposed solutions and provide strategic recommendations. • Oversee the development, testing, and deployment phases to ensure solutions meet both technical and business needs. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system requirements, technical designs, flowcharts, and deployment plans. • Ensure seamless integration between various systems and applications by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and governance policies. • Analyze system performance and provide insights to optimize functionality and user experience. • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals. Requirements • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience. • At least 5 years of experience working with B2C applications and marketing technologies (MarTech). • Proficient in creating technical documents such as system requirements and technical design specifications. • Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and database management. • Experience integrating MarTech systems with other applications, APIs, and databases. • Strong understanding of software development, solution architecture, and implementation of medium to large-scale systems. • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work. • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams seamlessly.
