As an MES Application Engineer at SK C&C USA. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our production systems running smoothly while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. What You’ll Do
As part of our Regional Operations Center (ROC) team, you’ll ensure the stability and performance of our production systems while building technical expertise across our technology stack. This role combines real-time operational support with opportunities to develop and enhance software solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Monitor & Support: Provide real-time oversight of production systems during 24/7 shift rotations (3-shift schedule), ensuring seamless operations.
• Analyze & Optimize: Manage and analyze production data processing systems to maintain peak performance and stability.
• Respond & Resolve: Act as the first line of defense, troubleshooting and resolving production floor issues quickly and effectively.
• Improve Systems: Identify opportunities to optimize system performance and contribute to stability enhancements.

• Initial Phase
• Dive into comprehensive training on our systems and processes.
• Gain hands-on experience through structured On-the-Job Training (OJT).
• Master our production support systems and workflows.
• Development Phase
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of MES.
• Build applications using programming languages like Java, C#, and more.
• Collaborate on continuous system improvements and new feature rollouts.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Tech Skills: Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, or SQL.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a knack for tackling challenges head-on.
• Nice-to-Haves:
• Exposure to agile tools like Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Experience in a collaborative IT project (school, internship, or personal projects).
Other Requirements:
• Willingness to work a 3-shift rotation (Day, Evening, Night) to support our 24/7 operations.
• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting in a dynamic, technology-driven setting.
• English and Korean speakers preferred to facilitate effective communication in our diverse team and operations.
