Business Analyst

Hiring: Business Analyst 3 – Investments (Hybrid | Austin, TX) Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite) Duration: 6 months | 40 hours/week Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Note: Candidates must currently reside in or near Austin, TX and be able to work onsite as required. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Investments to support the modernization of Investment Accounting and investment data platforms. The role involves gathering business and data requirements, supporting system selection and implementation, enhancing portfolio management applications, and delivering high-quality data insights for financial reporting and decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Lead business, data, and process requirements gathering • Document investment workflows, data flows, and source-to-target mappings • Support implementation activities including data mapping, validation, and UAT • Enhance portfolio management and investment reporting solutions • Contribute to data governance, quality, and documentation efforts • Design dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field • 10+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience • 5+ years supporting financial or investment data systems • Strong experience with requirements documentation, data mapping, and SQL • Experience supporting system implementations or integrations Preferred Qualifications • Investment or asset management domain experience • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools • Understanding of modern data platforms and APIs
