Business Analyst - Salesforce Marketing Cloud Focus Location: Atlanta, GA (Perimeter Area) Work Schedule: Hybrid, approximately 1-2 days per week onsite (average 1.5 days/week) Duration: 6-Month Contract Potential: High likelihood of extension with potential for full-time conversion Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join a fast-paced team supporting high-visibility initiatives across IT and Marketing. This role is ideal for a strong functional Business Analyst who is technology-savvy, skilled at bridging business and technical teams, and has working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate will excel at gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, improving business processes, and ensuring successful delivery of projects. This is not a highly technical BA role; rather, we are looking for someone who can effectively translate business needs into actionable requirements while understanding how marketing technology solutions support business objectives. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and marketing teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discovery sessions to identify business needs and opportunities for process improvement. • Develop and maintain business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications. • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered. • Support multiple concurrent projects involving marketing technology, customer engagement, and business process improvements. • Collaborate with Salesforce Marketing Cloud users and stakeholders to understand campaign, customer journey, and marketing automation requirements. • Participate in solution reviews, testing activities, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Assist with project planning, issue resolution, risk identification, and change management activities. • Ensure alignment between project deliverables and business objectives. • Provide ongoing communication and status updates to stakeholders and project teams. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise-level projects. • Strong functional BA background with demonstrated success gathering and documenting business requirements. • Experience working closely with both business stakeholders and technology teams. • Solid understanding of project lifecycles, business process analysis, and requirements management. • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related marketing processes. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and driving consensus across multiple teams. • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar platforms. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting marketing, digital, customer experience, or CRM-related initiatives. • Exposure to marketing automation, email campaigns, customer journeys, audience segmentation, or campaign management. • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications or hands-on platform experience. • Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid project environments.
