Role description
Business Analyst (SAP – Operations, Finance, Supply Chain) – Contract – White Plains, NY Skills – Business Analyst, SAP, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Stakeholder Management, SAP ECC My client who is a leading brand within the CPG industry is looking for a hands-on, delivery-oriented Business Analyst supporting Supply Chain and Finance. The BA focuses on requirements, process mapping, testing coordination, and incremental value delivery for SAP-centric enhancements. This individual will act as a bridge between business process owners and delivery teams, ensuring clean hand-offs into build, crisp UAT cycles, and smooth hypercare—primarily across SAP ECC Finance (FI/CO) and Supply Chain (MM/SD) processes. As such, a proven background working within SAP environments as outlined below is required. This is a long term contract position and will be based out of White Plains, NY. The on-site schedule is Tuesday-Thursday with Monday’s and Friday’s remote. Local candidates, or those willing to relocate are thus sought after. The Role: • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements across Supply Chain and Finance; translate into user stories/acceptance criteria and maintain a prioritized backlog . • Build and maintain as‑is / to‑be process maps (BPMN/SIPOC), data flows, and interface diagrams; identify upstream/downstream impacts across Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, and Record‑to‑Report. • Translate business needs into functional specifications for SAP ECC/S/4 (FI/CO, MM, SD, pricing/conditions, master data, and IDocs); validate feasibility with solution and technical leads. • Coordinate SIT/UAT: develop test scenarios, support defect management, and steward sign-offs for SAP changes and minor releases. • Partner with Supply Chain and Finance stakeholders to support operational cycles such as period close, forecasting, procurement, inventory/warehouse updates, and production or copack-related workflows. • Monitor post-deployment outcomes; capture learnings and help maintain a continuous improvement backlog. The Candidate: • 3–6 years of Business Analysis experience supporting SAP ECC or S/4HANA in Finance and/or Supply Chain. • Practical knowledge of SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, pricing/conditions, master data impacts, and IDoc monitoring. • Strong process-mapping capabilities (BPMN) and an ability to write clear user stories/acceptance criteria. • Proficiency with Jira/Azure DevOps, Visio, ServiceNow, Excel, and PowerPoint. • CPG industry experience is beneficial to have Hourly Rate– $100-$115 Per Hour All Inclusive (Corp to Corp) Please send resumes directly to patrick.hindmarsh@stottandmay.com and we can look to discuss specifics.
