Business Analyst III (Hybrid – Austin, TX) Type: Full-Time Contract Start Date: January 2026 Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – Onsite Mon & Wed, Remote Tue/Thu/Fri) Note: Only candidates living within 50 miles of Austin, TX will be considered. About the Role We are seeking a Business Analyst III with strong experience evaluating business systems, documenting requirements, and supporting application development projects. This role involves analyzing business needs, reviewing system capabilities, and writing detailed functional specifications. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and business teams. Key Responsibilities • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs • Document business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications • Support business process improvements and help identify solutions • Conduct requirement sessions with stakeholders and technical teams • Participate in design discussions and system reviews • Assist with unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing • Prepare solution options, risk assessments, and basic cost/benefit insights • Act as a liaison between business partners and IT teams • Organize work efficiently and manage multiple assignments • Support ongoing enhancements and change requests Required Skills • 8+ years of business analysis experience • Strong understanding of business process analysis and documentation • Experience supporting software development projects • Hands-on experience in unit testing, system testing, and UAT • Strong planning and organizational skills • Solid knowledge of SDLC methodologies • Excellent communication skills with both business and technical teams Preferred Skills • Experience working with case management systems • Experience using Jira or similar project management tools • Experience working as both a Business Analyst and Data Analyst • Any project management background (PMP is a plus) Work Schedule Hybrid schedule: • Onsite: Monday & Wednesday • Remote: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday May require occasional work outside standard business hours.
