Contract Technical Business Analyst – Securities Settlement
Our partner, a global leader in financial technology, is hiring for a Contract Technical Business Analyst supporting the Securities Settlement module of thier Post Trade Processing platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a modern, real-time, event-driven securities back-office system within an agile framework.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse and support product and client-led change initiatives for the Securities Settlements module.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, and other internal teams throughout the SDLC.
• Break down product-level requirements into technical work items.
• Produce documentation including use cases, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
• Support cross-functional teams and regulatory initiatives.
• Participate in Business Process Reviews (BPRs) for new and existing clients.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Strong experience within financial services (custodians, broker-dealers, securities vendors).
• Strong understanding of securities industry flows, especially SWIFT MT/MX messaging.
Technical proficiency in:
• Linux
• SQL
• REST API integrations
• Interface specifications
• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
Desirable Experience
• Familiarity with North American market infrastructures (DTC, CDS, NSCC, FICC).
• Knowledge of European and Asian settlement flows.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Understanding of FIX and Bloomberg XML messaging protocols.
• Comfortable engaging with senior leadership and stakeholders.
