Job Title: Business Analyst, Senior Location: Oakland, CA(Hybrid) Type: Contract TOP THINGS LOOKING FOR: • Advanced SQL, Excel, and Power BI knowledge • Years of experience in Data Analytics • Professional experience in the utility sector Job Description: Job Responsibilities: • Performs analysis on complex data models requiring customized reports and data. • Develops new or revises existing data analysis to predict business outcomes selecting from various complex variables. • Develops and uses metrics to develop recommendations related to business strategy and operations. Presents findings and recommendations to leaders. • Manages small to mid-size projects. • Strong working experience in data warehousing and business intelligence technologies including good knowledge of Relational Database/SQL, SAS and Business Objects. • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving experience. • Responds to internal and external data requests, and ensures deadlines are met and stakeholders are satisfied. • Designs effective systems that assist with regulatory filings and various analytical modeling needs based on large volumes of customer and financial data. Education Minimum: • Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
