Business Analyst

Payrate: $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Summary: The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director. Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization. • Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics. • Review contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements. • Set up project and work breakdown structures. • Establish and document business processes. • Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets. • Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions. Skills: • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. • Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed. • Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus. • Excel Skills - must be able to perform pivot tables, generate graphs and v-lookup functions • There will be a test of these skills and they must be performed without the assistance of AI • Excellent power point skills • Needed to put together presentations of SLA and KPI metrics • Customer facing experience • The role is also going to be an escalation specialist for our LFD product • Superior customer service skills needed • High sense of urgency • Able to deescalate irate customers and volatile situations Skills: • High level excels • Report generation • Customer skills • Project Management • Expertise on Power Point & Excel • Strategic and Analytic thinking Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree or above in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required. • 2-4 years’ experience required. Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $36.00 - $38.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
