Business Analyst

Business Analyst Position Summary Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the primary link between our business stakeholders and our technical teams. This role is focused on the Technology Lifecycle, ensuring that our laboratory and clinical systems are updated and optimized without disrupting operations. You are the "Technical Translator"—responsible for gathering complex business requirements from lab managers and translating them into clear specifications for technical execution. Key Responsibilities • Requirement Translation: Lead workshops with lab users to gather business requirements; translate these into technical language that developers and system engineers can act on • Stakeholder Liaison: Build strong working relationships with business users and lab leaders. Provide clear and professional communication regarding project status, milestones, and blockers • UAT Strategy & Execution: Design and execute detailed User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans. Lead the validation process to ensure system changes meet business needs and do not compromise lab data integrity • Agile Management: Manage user stories, task tracking, and project timelines within Azure DevOps (ADO) • Data Organization: Maintain accurate data within tracking tools and create executive-ready reporting decks (PowerPoint/Excel) to summarize project progress • Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 3+ years of Business Analysis experience. You must be an expert at gathering requirements and translating them for diverse technical and non-technical audiences • Testing Mastery: Deep experience in UAT planning and execution, including writing test scripts, coordinating with end-users, and managing the sign-off process • Preferred: Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or Electronic Health Records (EHR)
