Role description
Business Analyst | Smarter Bidding & Data Integration Programme
TRIA have partnered exclusively with a global transportation company undergoing a major transformation programme. As part of this journey, they are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support both a Smarter Bidding initiative and a parallel Data Integration programme.
Rate: £600-£625 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: Initial 6 months, strong likelihood of extension
Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week, Central London
Key Responsibilities
• Lead workshops and requirements gathering across bidding, pipeline and data integration workstreams.
• Produce business requirements, user stories, process maps and data flow documentation.
• Analyse and improve existing Excel-based and manual processes.
• Work with business, technology and data teams to define integration requirements and data dependencies.
• Support data mapping, migration and data quality activities.
• Contribute to reporting and analytics requirements, including Power BI-based solutions.
• Support vendor assessments, solution design, testing and rollout activities.
• Engage with international stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Required Experience
• Proven Business Analyst experience within transformation, digital change or operational improvement programmes.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working on data integration, data migration, data mapping or reporting initiatives.
• Exposure to Power BI and modern data environments.
• Experience with CRM, workflow, project management or bid management platforms.
• Experience supporting software/vendor selection and implementation activities.
• Comfortable working across business, technology and data teams.
Desirable
• Experience within bidding, sales operations or pipeline management environments.
• Exposure to Snowflake, Azure, AWS or similar cloud data platforms.
• Experience within transport, infrastructure or other complex operational environments.
