Business Analyst (Specialist): On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst (Specialist) for a 12-18 months role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Houston office. Business Analyst (Specialist) - Job Description: The Safety Data Analyst in the Process Safety & Services team assists the organization in leveraging data to drive informed decisions that enhance workplace safety and risk management. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends and insights that inform the development of safety policies and training programs. Business Analyst (Specialist) - Responsibilities:
Project managing power app build requests
Developing solutions in the power platform space (PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate)
Building predictive models to anticipate potential hazards
Conducting statistical analysis on the root causes of incidents
Querying databases to track safety KPIs
Presenting findings to cross-functional stakeholders
Reporting tasks related to monthly reporting
Business Analyst (Specialist) - Mandatory Skills:
Technical knowledge in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and PowerBI
Ability to communicate complex safety-related information clearly
Experience with project management
Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
Good to excellent communication skills
Business Analyst (Specialist) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Enablon or EHSM platforms
Background in safety data analysis
Familiarity with safety performance AI build roadmap
Understanding of safety classification and learning models
Market research experience for data collection tools
