Role description
Business Analyst | London | Hybrid | £50,000 - £55,000 We're working with a high-impact, mission-driven London Not-for-Profit on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a data-savvy Business Analyst to spearhead a digital transformation, moving complex, data-heavy legacy systems into a modern, UX-optimised web application. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC) where you will sit at the intersection of Agile delivery, data architecture, and user experience. If you enjoy translating massive transactional data sets into elegant user journeys and working within a collaborative Scrum environment, this is the role for you. The Role • Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, UX specialists, and 3rd party developers to deliver a core business application redevelopment. • Dive deep into complex data structures and relational databases to map "as-is" processes to "to-be" digital states. • Manage the product lifecycle within the Atlassian suite, building and refining backlogs in Jira and maintaining high-quality documentation in Confluence. • Champion the user by creating personas and mapping user journeys to ensure the web application is intuitive and functional. • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with the Project Manager to execute a strategic roadmap and conduct gap analysis. What You'll Need • Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering web-based applications or software development projects. • Deep understanding of data modeling, relational database structures, and the ability to interpret complex transactional data. • Hands-on experience with UX-focused methodologies, including user stories, personas, and journey mapping (exposure to Wireframing tools like Adobe XD or Axure is a plus). • Expert-level proficiency in Agile/Scrum environments and the use of Jira and Confluence for requirement management. • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead workshops and challenge existing workflows. What's On Offer • Exceptional 12.5% non-contributory pension scheme—one of the best in the sector. • Work-life balance with a 2-day office / 3-day WFH hybrid split and extra holiday days over the Christmas period. • Comprehensive benefits including private medical insurance and a dedicated employee assistance programme. • A creative, innovative culture that actively invests in your professional learning and development.
