Business Analyst

Only open to W-2 Candidates • • • Summary: The Business Analyst will support a major UM Pega migration initiative by coordinating UAT activities, gathering requirements, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth release readiness. This role requires strong Agile knowledge, healthcare/managed care experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. The position involves scheduling, documenting, communicating, and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: • Schedule, prepare, and facilitate UAT sessions for the UM Pega migration • Participate in daily stand-ups, project meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions • Act as scribe and document business requirements, decisions, and action items • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify UAT testers, training participants, and production access users • Submit bulk production access requests and troubleshoot access issues with the IDM team • Collaborate closely with AMS, Pega Product Owners, and Project Managers to gather release details for communications • Review, create, and edit JIRA stories as needed • Analyze current workflows and identify improvements during the migration process • Prepare high-level documentation and training materials • Conduct research and data analysis to support decision-making and compliance requirements • Contribute to management reviews by presenting findings and recommending solutions Required Qualifications • 3–5 years of business analysis experience • 4+ years of managed care or healthcare operations experience • Strong understanding of Agile methodology • Experience using JIRA • Ability to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements • Associate degree or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree • 1–3 years of formal training in Business or Systems Analysis • Experience with UM systems or Pega (highly preferred)
