Business Analyst

Overview Our team is seeking a strong Business Analyst / QA Analyst. This role is remote with EST working hours. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and define business and functional requirements • Write and manage user stories and backlog items in Azure DevOps • Define and document acceptance criteria for features and enhancements • Create and maintain detailed test cases aligned with requirements • Execute manual testing and support regression testing efforts • Assist in building and configuring automated test suites • Perform UI, backend API, and SQL Server testing • Ensure traceability between business requirements, test cases, and deliverables • Validate that delivered functionality meets business needs and acceptance criteria • Collaborate closely with developers, QA team members, and product owners in a Scrum/Agile environment • Support production defect triage and resolution Required Qualifications • Strong experience as a Business Analyst with QA/testing responsibilities • Hands-on experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases • Experience working in Azure DevOps • Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies • Experience testing web applications, APIs, and databases (SQL) • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments • Experience with requirements traceability Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to test automation and regression suite development • Experience working with cloud-native applications or modernization projects • Familiarity with security tools such as Snyk or Veracode • Industry experience in workers' compensation or healthcare
