Role description
Duration: 4+ Months
Location: NJ- Bridgewater, 100% Remote
Overview: Every consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services offers to clients. As a Managed Care Solution Consultant - Model N Validata, you will join the Business Transformation practice. The Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
β’ Conduct observations and shadowing to understand current client use of Validata and Model N Revenue Cloud (with focus on claim scrubbing, compliance validation, contract setup, rebates)
β’ Benchmark client practices against industry best practices and identify opportunities for optimization
β’ Deliver recommendations and support a phased plan for business process improvements
β’ Collaborate with client PMs, technical teams, and third-party vendors to implement improvements with minimal disruption
β’ Document processes, configurations, and recommendations in client-preferred tools (MS Office, diagramming tools, etc.)
β’ Provide vendor management and consulting oversight where applicable
Qualifications
β’ Strong hands-on experience with Model N Validata (configuration, testing, user perspective)
β’ Deep knowledge of payer/managed care processes, especially claim scrubbing and compliance validation
β’ Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and data warehouse integrations in payer/provider workflows
β’ Process documentation expertise (configuration-focused, not just strategic)
β’ Experience with automation and testing tools a plus
β’ βStratocutionistβ mindset β can bridge strategy with hands-on execution
β’ Strong root cause analysis and storytelling capabilities
β’ Proactive, self-starter with ability to work independently
β’ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
β’ Consulting background with ability to manage time-boxed, project-based engagements
β’ Comfortable managing third-party vendors and collaborating across stakeholders
The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $165,000 or the hourly equivalent.
