Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst with experience in the healthcare domain and strong expertise in Informatica tools. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, supporting data integration, analysis, and system enhancements in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Work closely with ETL developers to design and implement data integration solutions using Informatica (PowerCenter / IICS).
• Analyze healthcare data (claims, EHR, patient data, etc.) to support reporting and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
• Perform data mapping, data validation, and support data quality initiatives.
• Participate in system testing (UAT, SIT), defect tracking, and resolution.
• Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
• Create documentation including BRDs, FRDs, data flow diagrams, and process maps.
• Facilitate communication between business users, developers, and QA teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare IT, or related field.
• 3–8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong experience in healthcare domain (payer/provider, claims, EHR, HL7/FHIR knowledge preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, or similar ETL tools).
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Experience with data mapping, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards and compliance requirements (HIPAA).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
