Business Analyst

Long term contract $65/hr Hybrid in RI UAT, SQL, financial planning and analysis, Workday, Peoplesoft, gathering requirements, documentation, stakeholders We’re seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technology across HR and Finance. You’ll work with stakeholders to drive insights, support system enhancements, and improve processes using data and enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, including test planning, execution, and validation • Analyze and interpret data using SQL to support business decisions and reporting needs • Work across HRIS (Workday, PeopleSoft) and CRM systems to optimize processes and data flow • Partner with Finance teams to support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) initiatives • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend scalable solutions • Create clear documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user guides Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role • Hands-on experience with UAT testing methodologies • Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting • Experience working with Workday, PeopleSoft, and/or CRM systems • Exposure to or experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
