IT software/application project experience required. System Review Business Analyst will be utilized to review and assess the existing data sources and data source systems within the agency and identify threats to data validity and reliability. Responsibilities β€’ The analyst will work with the Division of Community Services, the Division of Clinical and Quality Management, the Division of Administration, and stakeholders to identify and develop actionable recommendations that when implemented will result in improvement to data validity and reliability. Thus, increasing the ability of the department to attest to the reliability of the data source and data source system and the validity and reliability of the data it produces. Current data exists in various data source systems and repositories. β€’ Client has several systems that are utilized by the department that an individual may not be familiar with, unless they’ve worked for the state, such as WAMS, CONNECT and other systems, therefore the selected candidate will have access to information regarding all data sources and data source systems to be assessed as well as previously developed threat assessment reports. As part of the threat assessment process the selected candidate will review data source training materials; conduct subject matter expert and stakeholder interviews; review system training materials; shadow data source users; conduct source system table analysis, review, synthesize and prioritize all threats; develop and present actionable recommendations to mitigate identified threats. Threats to data security will not be assessed as part of this process. Daily check-ins may be required during onboarding and training. β€’ The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
