Role description
Digital Business Analyst Location: Warwick (3 days per week onsite) Day Rate: £370/day (Inside IR35) Contract: 6-month rolling, start ASAP We are looking for an experienced Digital Business Analyst to join our client in Warwick. This role is ideal for someone passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving digital transformation, and delivering measurable business value. Key Responsibilities: • Analyse complex business processes, systems, and user requirements to recommend digital solutions that drive efficiency and innovation • Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys • Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows for development teams • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders • Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, user guides, and training materials • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues • Support user acceptance testing and coordinate system implementations • Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential business applications Essential Skills & Experience: • Previous experience within the Energy sector • Experience assessing internal structures, processes, systems, capabilities, and culture to evaluate business performance and strategy delivery • Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate trends and develop forward-looking plans • Strong analytical skills to collect, interpret, and present data insights • Exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences • Proven stakeholder management and influencing abilities • Experience converting business needs into technical or procedural requirements • Awareness of IT systems, digital transformation, and automation opportunities • Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams • Proficiency in data tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Project, Word, PowerPoint) • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose effective, scalable solutions • Leadership capability and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders If you are a proactive, analytical, and strategic thinker with a passion for digital transformation in the Energy sector, we want to hear from you.
