Job#: 3033181 Job Description: Business Analyst Location: Saint Paul, MN (Partial Remote) Employment Type: Contract Role Overview We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the Retail/QSR Intelligence Team. This role is integral to an emerging digital solution that helps improve food safety performance by transforming operational data into actionable insights. The position involves working in a fast-paced, agile environment on a product in its early lifecycle, focusing on improvements and enhancements based on customer feedback. Key Responsibilities • Create and manage user stories and organize backlogs using Azure DevOps (ADO). • Collaborate with product owners, engineering, UI, and data science teams. • Transform ambiguous and evolving needs into well-structured requirement sets. • Gather, document, and translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements. • Manage dependencies across multiple workstreams including UI, engineering, data science, and product teams. • Document and understand APIs and data integrations. Required Qualifications • Experience writing user stories and managing boards and backlogs in Azure DevOps. • Proven ability to work in an agile environment with multiple workstreams. • Demonstrated skill in transforming ambiguous needs into structured requirements. • Capability to gather, document, and translate business needs for technical teams. • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with B2B web application solutions or developing mobile applications from inception. • Knowledge of food safety in Food Retail or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environments. • Familiarity with projects involving AI, Business Intelligence, or Data Science. • Experience with digital product roadmaps, APIs, and integrating data streams. • Skill in collaborating with customers to refine and clarify requirements. Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour. The specific compensation offered will be determined by a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and market demands.
