Data Business Analyst Outside IR35 | Hertfordshire | Hybrid | £550 - £600 per day
We're working with an established, high-growth enterprise organisation on this exciting opportunity. You will act as the critical bridge between business strategy and technical execution, driving high-impact data and analytics initiatives that transform how the business utilizes its information assets.
This role is perfect for a consultant who thrives in complex Azure environments and enjoys translating ambiguous business needs into high-quality data products. You will join an ambitious team tasked with delivering business-critical insights using modern cloud data platforms and advanced reporting tools.
The Role
• Lead the discovery phase for complex data initiatives, translating stakeholder requirements into technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate daily with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality data products and reporting solutions.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data projects, including rigorous UAT, testing, and final business sign-off.
• Map out data lineage and business metrics to ensure analytics outputs drive measurable commercial value and high user adoption.
• Serve as the primary liaison between senior business stakeholders and technical squads within a fast-moving Azure ecosystem.
What You'll Need
• Proven track record as a Data Business Analyst working on large-scale data transformation or analytics programmes.
• Strong technical competency within Azure environments, including familiarity with cloud data platforms and enterprise analytics tools.
• Excellent Requirements Engineering skills, with the ability to create detailed documentation for ERP, CRM, and reporting integrations.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing both technical engineers and C-suite leadership.
• A results-oriented mindset with the ability to solve complex problems in high-pressure, enterprise-level environments.
