Role description
Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a large healthcare organization. This is a fully remote contract opportunity. The Business Analyst will be responsible for acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
Partner with business and technical teams to gather, document, and manage requirements across several concurrent projects.
Support Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration efforts, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
Collaborate with data teams working on enterprise data warehouse solutions; understand and contribute to data workflows and architecture.
Write clear, detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation to guide development and QA teams.
Track action items, decisions, and follow-ups from project meetings, serving as a reliable point of contact for project updates.
Represent technical teams effectively to business stakeholders, advocating for technical requirements and constraints.
Collaborate on API-related integrations, ensuring requirements are technically sound and feasible.
Qualification for the Business Analyst:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role within IT or marketing technology.
Prior experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and enterprise data integration.
Familiarity with APIs and system interactions; comfortable participating in technical discussions.
Proven ability to manage requirements across multiple concurrent projects.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Bachelorβs degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Compensation for the Business Analyst:
Hourly rate: $50-$55
