Business Analyst

JOB-2266 San Antonio, TX Onsite to start, possibility of hybrid at a later date Duration: 12 months We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database documentation, data analysis, and visualization, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Key responsibilities • Proven ability to document complex database structures, including tables, views, and relationships. • Experience in creating comprehensive data dictionaries and schema diagrams. • Demonstrated experience in developing documents for data mart tables based on user specifications. • Ability to design and implement data structures that enhance data processing and performance. • Skilled in reviewing and documenting Tableau dashboards. • Experience in identifying and eliminating duplicate or redundant dashboards to streamline reporting. • Ability to analyze existing data processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions. • Strong problem-solving skills to address complex data integration and management challenges. • Proven capability to liaise with business teams, coordinate documentation efforts, and ensure clear communication of changes and improvements. • Ability to facilitate meetings and gather requirements effectively. • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel and SQL, as well as business intelligence software like Tableau. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tool like JIRA is preferred. • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and metadata management is a plus. This role requires a proactive approach to improving data integration and management, with a focus on optimizing performance and maintaining high-quality documentation. Candidates with experience in metadata management and performance optimization techniques are highly preferred. Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required for the candidate.
