Business Analyst

Salesforce Business Analyst | Remote | Contract-to-hire | $45-$55/hr No C2C Enquires We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to help transform business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions that improve marketing operations, enrollment processes, and student support experiences. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to optimize Salesforce platforms, streamline workflows, and deliver solutions that support a mission-driven organization focused on improving access and outcomes for families and students. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with deep Salesforce configuration experience, a passion for process improvement, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Solution Design • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for process improvement. • Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, workflows, and acceptance criteria for technical teams. • Analyze current processes and recommend Salesforce solutions that improve efficiency, user experience, and operational performance. Salesforce Configuration & Optimization • Configure and enhance Salesforce environments, including Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. • Build and maintain declarative Salesforce solutions including: • Flows • Page layouts • Validation rules • Custom objects • Reports and dashboards • User permissions and security settings • Support Salesforce enhancements, releases, integrations, and platform improvements while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Testing, Reporting & User Enablement • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validate enhancements, and ensure solutions meet business requirements before deployment. • Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs that enable data-driven decision-making. • Create documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials to support successful adoption of Salesforce solutions. Required Experience & Skills • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Administrator, Systems Analyst, or similar role. • Experience working in K–12 education, higher education, virtual education, or education technology environments preferred. • Strong understanding of student lifecycle processes, including enrollment, attendance, and support services. • Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience with: • Salesforce Marketing Cloud • Service Cloud • Experience Cloud • Salesforce Flows • Reports & Dashboards • Data management and CRM best practices • Experience gathering requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and translating business needs into scalable solutions. • Experience supporting UAT, change management, documentation, and end-user training. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts. • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with strong organizational skills.
