Job Title: Business Analyst-Data Engineer-II Location: Cincinnati, OH-Onsite role Duration: 3 months contract Job Description: General Function: As a member of an Agile squad within Wealth & Asset Management Technology, the Business Analyst will support existing applications, implement new features, and enable capabilities using modern software engineering tools and practices. This role adheres to established standards and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and risk awareness. The analyst will also participate in resolving customer issues and documenting solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Support a dynamic application where the UI and functionality are driven by data configured in a UDB DB2 database. Must be proficient in SQL and relational databases to configure and troubleshoot framework tables. • Build/support Power BI Reports & Dashboards • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, including writing professional emails and leading meetings. • Provide support and troubleshooting for data platforms, including escalated on-call support for complex or critical incidents. • Contribute to internal projects such as legacy system replacement, monitoring and analytics enhancements, tool development, and documentation. • Mentor and guide team members. • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments effectively. Required Skills & Experience: • SQL: 3+ years of experience • Power BI: 2+ years of experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in data-related issues and solution design • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to lead meetings and collaborate across teams Nice to Have Skills & Experience: • Familiarity with DataStage • Experience with Business Objects • Knowledge of PowerApps/Power Automate Kind Regards, Joshua Gidugu | Technical Recruiter E-Mail Id:
