Business - Data Analyst Charlotte, NC hybrid on-site contract/contract to hire W2 only - NO 3rd PARTIES PLEASE Summary: Our client is seeking a mid-level Data Analyst to support the Security Metrics & Reporting function with the Business Management team. Supports business decision-making by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data using accessible tools and methods. This role focuses on deriving insights from reports and dashboards without requiring deep coding or technical expertise. This person should be technical and lead some of the requirements calls with the stakeholders, write technical specs, and write queries to analyze data. Responsibilities: • Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports. • Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance using Excel or BI tools. • Any exposure to SQL and relational databases is a plus. • Prepare visualizations, charts, and summary reports for stakeholders. • Collaborate with business units to define reporting needs and ensure data accuracy. • Support ad hoc data requests and routine reporting. • Maintain documentation and ensure consistency across reporting processes. Skills: • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas. • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI. • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data in a business context. • Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams. • Basic understanding of data governance and privacy principles.
