Business Data Analyst

Job Title: Senior Business Data Analyst Location: Tampa, FL Duration: 6+ months (Possible Extension) Role Overview • Business Analyst–heavy role with some PM responsibilities (milestone tracking). • Acts as Hybrid BA / DA, with light PM exposure. • Focus on risk minimization and mitigation in payment processing. • Strong collaboration across multiple lines of business. • Data-heavy role – analysis experience is mandatory. • Works closely with Operations (primary stakeholder) and partners with Technology teams. Key Responsibilities • Analyse payment processing risks and controls. • Support transformation initiatives. • Track milestones and deliverables (PM-style). • Handle large datasets and perform deep analysis. • Partner with Operations and Tech for execution. Required Skills • Knowledge of Payments • Payments concepts & keywords: • SWIFT • DTC • Payment flows • Payment controls • Risk & control over payment processing • Payment messaging • SQL / query tools for large datasets. • Strong data analysis experience. • Jira experience.
