The Role We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, SQL-fluent Business Data Analyst (or hybrid BIA/Data Engineer) to help us build, optimize, and scale our Supabase/Postgres infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in powering the data behind our platform, helping us streamline backend systems, ensure data integrity, and improve product performance as we scale. This is a part-time contract opportunity (5–10 hours/week) with potential to grow into a larger role. What You’ll Be Doing • Design and optimize schemas and relationships in Supabase (PostgreSQL) • Write and maintain advanced SQL queries, views, and stored procedures • Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) for multi-tenant architecture • Collaborate on internal dashboards, tooling, and reporting pipelines • Identify performance bottlenecks and streamline data workflows What You Bring • Strong SQL skills and deep experience with PostgreSQL • Hands-on experience with Supabase or similar backend platforms • Knowledge of RLS, authentication, and security best practices • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, async environment • Bonus: Experience with data modeling, analytics, or early-stage startups Why Join Us? • Work directly with founders to shape core product architecture • Flexible hours, async work style, just get it done • Opportunity to grow into a full-time role as we scale • No red tape, no fluff, just smart, kind people solving real problems Ready to Apply?
