Business Data Analyst

Position : Business Data Analyst Location: Plano, TX Hybrid: 2 days a week for now but eventually it can be 4 days a week(M/T). Duration: 12+ Months (Contract) Only W2 Who We Are Our Analytics team focuses on generating actionable insights by leveraging data and applying effective data storytelling. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can translate complex data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate is skilled in data analysis, problem-solving, and communication, with a strong ability to tell compelling stories using data. What You’ll Be Doing • Identify and understand business needs, uncovering the key questions that drive meaningful analysis • Use SQL and Python to extract, clean, and organize data for analysis • Analyze data to evaluate both quantitative and qualitative impacts of potential business decisions • Develop actionable recommendations supported by data insights • Present findings through clear storytelling using PowerPoint, Tableau, and written/verbal communication • Create effective data visualizations to support decision-making • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement solutions and measure outcomes Key Skills & Qualifications • Proficiency in SQL and Python • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams • Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
