Business Data Analyst

Job Summary We're seeking a Business Data Analyst to empower a product team within our Multifamily Business Unit. This unique role is perfect for an Excel super-user with experience in macros, API integrations, and Swagger, ready to make a real impact. location: Reston, Virginia job type: Contract salary: $125,000 - 135,000 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities Responsibilities/Duties: • Develop and maintain Excel macros to streamline data analysis and reporting. • Design and implement API integrations across internal systems and third-party platforms. • Collaborate with engineering teams to support microservices-based architecture for scalable product solutions. • Must have significant experience working with multiple datasets with a high degree of complex relationships, enabling deep analysis and actionable insights. • Work with external partners to answer questions related to external APIs, including experience with Swagger documentation and developer portals. • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, write user stories, and define acceptance criteria for product features. Qualifications Education and Experience • Bachelor's or master's degree • Previous experience working with the GSE (Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac) preferably in the Multifamily Business Unit Skills And Qualifications ? Knowledge of?Agile software development project methodologies preferred? ? Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills? ? Excellent verbal and written communication? • Organized, ability to meet deadlines, work independently, manage multiple priorities? • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: pivot tables, formulas, macros, graphs/charts • Detail-oriented analytical abilities; ability to work with partial data and evolving outcomes to create structured, logical deliverables skills: Skills and Qualifications ?
