Business Data Analyst

Job Title: Business Data Analyst with Capital Market Location: Charlotte, NC (Zip code- 28202) Duration:12 months (possibility of extension) Will Work: Hybrid (3 days in office- 2 days remote) Rate: $55.00- $60.00/hr on w2 Description: This is a business data analyst role, not a technology position. The person in this role must have experience as a business data analyst. The role involves reviewing and understanding business requirements and deeply analyzing, slicing and dicing data to determine and document patterns and anomalies with the ability to assess whether the provided data meets the business requirements. The person in the role must be comfortable working independently and proactively to coordinate with our internal business teams (customers) and internal data providers to seek clarification and resolution when data provided does not meet the business requirements. Required Skills: • Understanding of derivatives and/or traded products data • Experience as a data analyst • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and oral/written communication skills • Comfortable partnering with business, technology teams and other stakeholders to achieve goals • Ability to communicate findings to stakeholders and tell a story about the data from a business lens • Intermediate SQL skills and experience • Intermediate experience working with MS Office products like Excel, PowerPoint, etc. • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment • Curiosity and thoughtfulness.
