Role: Business Data Analyst Exp: 10+ Years Location: Jersey City, NJ (5 days onsite) (NY/NJ Only) Visa: Independents Only MOI: 2 video round interviews Skills Required: · Strong experience in banking, financial and management consulting · Retail Banking is a must, primarily Payments or Wealth Management · Proficiency in programming languages like Pythion, SQL for data manipulation and analysis, good knowledge of excel · Effectively profile data from existing sources to understand its structure and content to capture data requirements and data modeling · Ability to write complex SQL queries · Understanding of business context and ability to align data analysis with business objectives · Work closely with Data modelers to translate domain knowledge into effective data models that accurately represent the structure and relations within the data · Data analysis experience in Deposits – CD, Savings, Checking Credit Cards – rewards cards, hotel, travel, business, and cobranded cards Debit – Debit platform Payment processing – Merchant, Ecommerce, ACH, business banking Wealth Management Investment Work on some of the most complex and highly visible data problems in finance at the intersection of finance and technology Ability to partner, prioritize, lead, negotiate, drive execution and influence Laison between SMEs, Data Architects, Data Modelers to understand individual data domains and ensure acceptance from all parties Engage and partner with Product owners, business users (technical and on-technical), data providers, technology teams, across large financial function to design and deliver data products Experienced in end-to-end SDLC Regards Sundeep.B (732)-(790) -(5650) sundeep.b (at) smg-LLC (dot) US Job Type: Contract Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 per week Application Question(s): This is a W2 role, 3rd party won't work Experience: Business Data Analyst: 10 years (Preferred) banking, financial : 10 years (Preferred) Retail Banking: 5 years (Preferred) Data modeling: 5 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Jersey City, NJ 07307 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
