Business Data Analyst

Contract to Hire Remote (EST or CST) Must be able to work on W2 without sponsorship now or in the future. No C2C The Data Enablement team is looking for a strong business data analyst that can communicate and work well with business and technology to understand context, gather requirements and almost help them think backwards in terms of reverse engineering some of their data flows and processes as they are looking to simplify their data warehous Must Have: • Strong communication, critical thinking and requirements gathering working closely with the business and technology teams • Strong SQL - comfortable writing joins, aggregations, window functions, and CTEs against large enterprise datasets • Strong Excel skills — pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas; comfortable wrangling large files for analysis and reconciliation • Power BI experience - would consider someone with Tableau • Experience with "text matching" (ie. taking names and addresses from different systems of record for consolidation purposes • Experience with/understanding of data flows, data aggregation, data architecture • Financial Services experience Nice to Have: • Retirement, Benefits, Broker Dealer, Wealth Mgmt experience • Experience with Python/DAX Scripting • MS Fabric experience
