We are seeking a Business / Data Analyst for a Banking client. Please note this role will sit hybrid onsite 3 days per week in one of the below listed locations.

Length: 6+ month Assignment (Chance of extension.)
Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour W2
Overview:
The Marketing Data Program Analyst within the Data and Marketing Enablement (DME) group is tasked with overseeing Database Marketing projects from start to finish, ensuring they address the needs of Payments Consumer and Small Business (PCS) clients seeking DBM (Database Marketing) solutions. This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, extracting and analyzing data, effectively leading project teams, communicating proactively with internal clients, and confirming that database marketing solutions meet business objectives.
Leadership & Delivery:
• Run and lead project efforts, ensuring teams stay aligned, on track, and moving forward.
• Drive Agile ceremonies and workflows; ensure stories are well‑defined, prioritized, and understood by business stakeholders.
• Act as a bridge between business, technical teams, and external partners.
Data & Technical Work:
• Dive deep into data to understand structures, relationships, and quality issues.
• Write SQL queries to explore, validate, and troubleshoot data.
• Identify required datasets and work with the Data Warehouse team to ensure proper ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Support the redesign of the marketing database platform, helping reduce hard‑coded dependencies and improve automation.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
• Work with the Data Warehouse team to prepare data for production use and coordinate data transfers to external vendors.
• Partner with Cardlytics and internal teams to improve onboarding/offboarding workflows.
• Provide clear documentation and user stories that translate technical needs into business‑friendly language.
Skills:
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and keep teams moving toward delivery.
• Strong Agile experience: able to run Agile processes end‑to‑end along with use of Jira.
• Advanced SQL skills with the ability to dig into data, write queries, validate results, and uncover issues.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data structures.
• Ability to define clear, concise user stories that business partners can understand.
• Understanding of Data Warehousing environments.
• Previous experience and understanding around Marketing Communications / Database Marketing.
• Naturally curious, with strong analytical and problem‑solving instincts.
