We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Business Data Analyst to serve as a key bridge between the teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding business challenges, translating requirements into actionable data initiatives, and delivering insights that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on data analytics experience and is comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment. This individual will play a critical role in defining requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvement, supporting data initiatives, and ensuring business objectives are effectively translated into technical and analytical solutions. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and data teams to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements. • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, prioritized, and translated into actionable solutions. • Analyze business processes, workflows, and data to identify inefficiencies, improvement opportunities, and data-driven recommendations. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, business metrics, reporting requirements, and success criteria. • Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria. • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights that support business decisions. • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. • Perform data validation, profiling, and quality analysis to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of business reporting. • Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements and expectations. • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Technology teams to support reporting, analytics, and enterprise data initiatives. • Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement. • Maintain project documentation, requirements, and traceability using tools such as Jira and Confluence. • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Support Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stakeholder reviews, and requirements clarification. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or similar role. • Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business, functional, and data requirements. • Proven ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical/data teams. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into business recommendations. • Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques. • Experience creating dashboards, reports, KPIs, and performance metrics. • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid Agile environments. • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and related collaboration tools. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working alongside Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, or Analytics teams. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and enterprise reporting solutions. • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar modern data platforms. • Proficiency in Python or other analytical programming languages. • Experience supporting enterprise data, reporting, or digital transformation initiatives. • Experience identifying automation opportunities and supporting AI/ML-driven business solutions. • Background in automotive, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or enterprise transformation environments.
