Job Description:
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related study or equivalent experience
Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis and/or data analytics roles, preferably within a finance or reporting environment
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle and Snowflake)
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Apps
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
• Experience in Cloud Data warehouses like Snowflake and Redshift
• Well-developed system analysis skills
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with experience presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or similar iterative development methodologies
Preferred Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
• Experience with Software as a Service cloud implementation particularly those in which legacy on premise applications have been migrated to cloud delivery options, financial transformations and/or modernization projects
• In addition, understanding data architecture, data quality, and data governance practices a plus
• Experience working with financial data, state or public sector systems a plus
• Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Access, Toad, or BI platforms a plus
