Business Data Analyst/Product Owner - Remote - Must Have 10+ Years Exp - W2 Only

Must haves- Agile experience, they will be functioning as a Product Owner, creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and must be a go getter to go after the unknown, asking ppl questions, corralling answers, and operate on their own with out guidance, experience with Azure and data bricks. Nice to haves- healthcare/ payor knowledge, member, eligibility, labs, providers, Snowflake The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for identifying a problem statement, gathering requirements, identifying the proper data solution, and documenting the decisions to support business stakeholders. This role supports data development and maintenance efforts of the Data & Analytics activities and initiatives in alignment with the Enterprise Data strategy, policies, and organizational goals. Duties And Responsibilities Other Duties As Assigned. Create data models based on the data solution decisions and conceptual models in collaboration with the data architect and developer. Peer Reviews documentation of business rules, data needs, technical documentation, and data models. Champions department standards for documentation and ensures that all assigned projects meet compliance and can withstand audit scrutiny. Presents documentation of business rules, data needs, technical documentation, and data models. Participate in scrum, backlog grooming, refinement, planning and review sessions. Ensure that all items follow company change management process. Ensures that the delivered data and processes fulfill the documented business rules and data needs. Support the cloud data framework that aligns with the Enterprise Data Strategy, policies, and organizational goals. Responsible for ensuring all documentation reflects the current state and outstanding issues so that business requirements reflect proper state of data. Documents data ingestion, transformation, and consumption including workflows, data models, data classification, and steps required to curate trusted data. Responsible for ensuring business/stakeholder approval, which passes audit scrutiny, for data solutions delivered in a production state. Collaborates with developers and architects to define and document the data solution to meet needs outlined in the business rules and needs. Coordinates discussions with business/stakeholders and cross functional/technical teams to capture and review use cases, requirements, and another technical document. Ensure all business requirements are accurately reflected and accounted for (including data lineage and transformations) Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of business rules and data needs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Prior knowledge of, or willingness to learn, healthcare and analytics industries Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Competent in Agile and Scrum processes Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines Experience problem solving and root cause analysis. Background and experience in Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Transformation and Data Reporting. Competent in Microsoft Azure Data tools or Snowflake Technologies. Demonstrated Data Query Skills Creates technical design document, source to target mapping that meets technical solutions and business needs of end user, managers, and project teams. Competency of data warehouse solution and design concepts, and dimensional modeling Familiar with data cleansing and data quality Focus Points Data analysis, data cleansing, logical/physical model in data warehousing, design concepts and dimensional modeling. Snowflake, TDD (Technical design documents), business requirements gathering, walk through of the TDD's with developers and QA team. Lead the team from requirements to go-live/prod support.
