A global technology leader is seeking an experienced Business and Data Insights Analyst to support the EMEIA POS Operations team. This is a high-visibility contract role with a strong focus on internal tool ownership, intelligent reporting, and regional data analysis across 66 countries.
You’ll work closely with local country teams and global stakeholders to act as the voice of the EMEIA region, ensuring data accuracy, surfacing insights, and supporting continuous improvement in how internal tools are used and understood.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tool Ownership & User Support
Become the go-to person for two core internal systems used across EMEIA for POS operations.
Support local market teams in understanding and using the tools effectively.
Represent the EMEIA region in conversations with global tool owners (Worldwide team), providing feedback and surfacing usability or accuracy concerns.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) on updates and help ensure tools remain suitable for evolving business needs.
Provide non-technical support by fielding questions, conducting training, and acting as a liaison. Not a technical support, but a knowledgeable advocate for the use of the systems.
1. Reporting & Dashboard Development
Create meaningful, informative dashboards using Tableau or similar tools to inform senior leadership.
Build intelligent management reporting that supports strategic business conversations.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure reporting is aligned with KPIs and program performance rather than direct sales data.
Use Excel to manipulate data, perform reconciliations, and build reporting logic.
1. Analytical Insight
Analyse POS operational data to understand performance by region/store (e.g., in-store/shop-in-shop fixtures within retail partners).
Model scenarios for under performance or growth to support data-led decision-making.
Identify trends across multiple markets and extract actionable insight to support planning and operational priorities.
What You’ll Need
5+ years’ experience in analytical, systems, or business insight roles.
Proven ability to manage and enhance internal reporting systems, including UAT and stakeholder liaison.
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and dashboarding tools (Tableau preferred).
Exposure to forecasting methodologies and interest in automation or AI-enhanced insight tools.
High attention to detail and a relentless focus on data accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insight.
Comfortable working with a steep learning curve in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with multiple proprietary internal systems as well as 3rd party tooling to analyse across results to create a centralised more accurate insight and overview in management information reporting.
Interview stages:
2 stages with second stage being a face-to-face interview in London, including an Excel task
