Job Profile: Business Day On-Call (BDOC) Analyst Experience Level: 3–5 years overall in a similar operational/support role, with 1–3 years of specific experience in modern cloud/data technologies. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Role SummarY • The Business Day On-Call (BDOC) Analyst serves as the primary operational subject matter expert supporting the Supply Chain Planning team • .Acting as the critical bridge between business operations and technical execution, this role ensures seamless system integrations and maintains operational workflows • .Ultimately, the analyst protects enterprise system stability by providing immediate, effective solutions during business hours . Key Responsibilities • Platform & Production Support: Serve as the primary on-call resource managing daily high-priority break-fixes, batch monitoring, and platform stabilization for core enterprise supply chain tool • s.System Integration & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex integration errors and payload discrepancies between supply chain tools and SAP to prevent downstream pipeline failure • s.Data Lake Operations: Troubleshoot Data Lake synchronization delays to ensure real-time table updates are accurate for downstream system • s.Incident & Change Management: Actively manage and resolve JIRA and ServiceNow tickets. Oversee standard SLA lifecycles, and coordinate production deployment activities by executing Change Requests (CRs) for critical file and batch update • s.Maintenance & Operations Planning: Communicate structured maintenance window plans (e.g., for SAP) to ensure job continuity and minimize business impact. Send out timely, clear communications to the supply chain team regarding system downtimes, buying guidelines, and restoration statuse • s.Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Build and maintain internal resources, such as comprehensive Confluence documentation. Lead knowledge transfer sessions with offshore team members to optimize global support coverage. This includes morning overlap meetings and a daily status handoff at 4:30 PM for offshore teams to pick up later via cha • t.Weekly Ticket Review: Lead, organize, provide an action plan from weekly ticket reviews with vendors (o9 and Blue Yonder Technical Skills • Supply Chain Platforms: Operational experience with supply chain tools (e.g., o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder Cloud AR) and SAP integrations.
