About the Role:
β’ The Business Intelligence Platform Administrator within Adobe's Information & Data Services (IDS) organization will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and upgrading our corporate business intelligence systems. This individual will be working very closely with Adobe business clients and IT team members to design robust and scalable Bl and data delivery platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Enable platforms that maintain architectural integrity and high availability
β’ Perform zero downtime upgrades
β’ Learn business processes in departments like Sales, Finance, and HR to be able to better support their needs
β’ Onboard new systems and applications
β’ Upgrade existing applications
β’ Initiate and contribute to network and application security reviews
β’ Improve each platform by conceiving and implementing better processes
β’ Build sophisticated logical models while enabling them for users in an intuitive fashion
β’ Assist end users with upgrade testing
β’ Train super users and power users on usage of the tools
β’ Coordinate development work with offshore team members and others
β’ Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of tools and systems
β’ Work with the business solutions delivery team to ensure that solutions are simple to use
β’ Collaborate and work with multi-functional IT teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
β’ BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Data Scientist experience preferred.
β’ 5 to 7 years working in IT with a detailed understanding of SDLC methodology
β’ An understanding of or prior experience with R, Python, Jupyter, or similar tools
β’ A proven track record as a system administrator for BI tools
β’ Prior experience implementing Power BI solutions
β’ Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
β’ Solid grasp of relational databases with demonstrated experience using SQL
β’ Solid grasp of data warehousing methodologies and dimensional modeling
β’ Experience with writing flex custom components such as charting a plus
β’ Experience participating in JAD/ RAD / AGILE / Waterfall scrum sessions a plus
β’ Ability to quickly translate requirements into work
β’ Capable with Microsoft Office applications including Word, MS Project, Excel, Visio, and other tools that facilitate the requirements gathering and design phases of the SDLC
β’ Passion for solving problems, innovation, and creativity
β’ Self-motivated with strong leadership and presence
β’ Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills
β’ Good interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Compensation:
β’ Up to $79.58 per hour.
