Role description
Job Title: BI Developer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 8 months
Contract Type: W2 only
Pay Rate: $43.66/Hour
Duties:
• Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders within the cohort to identify key business challenges and opportunities for optimization.
• Apply data-driven methodologies to develop impactful solutions, support strategic initiatives, and guide decision-making.
• Design and build dynamic, user-friendly data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business growth.
• Maintain high standards of data quality and integrity through robust validation and cleansing processes.
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL and Azure KQL, with hands-on experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Familiarity with web analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven experience in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer) are a plus.
