Role description
The Data Analytics team at our client is expanding, and this role sits at the center of how decisions get made. As a BI Analyst, you’ll connect data to strategy, transform numbers into stories, and help leaders across the business see what’s happening and what’s next. What You’ll Do β€’ Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine reporting and analytics requirements. β€’ Translate business needs into clear data and visualization requirements. β€’ Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs in Power BI and Excel that clearly communicate trends and performance. β€’ Perform data profiling and quality checks to identify trends, gaps, and anomalies. β€’ Support source-to-target data mapping and ensure alignment between business logic and data structures. β€’ Build test cases and perform QA to validate data accuracy and functionality. β€’ Document processes, data flows, and business rules in a clear, organized manner. β€’ Contribute to business cases, process models, and continuous improvement initiatives. Tech Stack: Power BI | Excel | SQL | Azure | Microsoft Fabric | OneLake What You Bring β€’ Strong skills in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and communication. β€’ Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable data requirements. β€’ Proficiency in Power BI and Excel; ability to mock up visuals and reports. β€’ Solid understanding of SQL and data analysis. β€’ Experience with process mapping, data profiling, and data documentation. β€’ Knowledge of BI concepts such as dimensional modeling, facts/dimensions, and star schema. β€’ Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills. β€’ Clear and concise written and verbal communication, able to bridge business and technical teams.
