Role description
The Data Analytics team at our client is expanding, and this role sits at the center of how decisions get made. As a BI Analyst, youβll connect data to strategy, transform numbers into stories, and help leaders across the business see whatβs happening and whatβs next.
What Youβll Do
β’ Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine reporting and analytics requirements.
β’ Translate business needs into clear data and visualization requirements.
β’ Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs in Power BI and Excel that clearly communicate trends and performance.
β’ Perform data profiling and quality checks to identify trends, gaps, and anomalies.
β’ Support source-to-target data mapping and ensure alignment between business logic and data structures.
β’ Build test cases and perform QA to validate data accuracy and functionality.
β’ Document processes, data flows, and business rules in a clear, organized manner.
β’ Contribute to business cases, process models, and continuous improvement initiatives.

β’ Proficiency in Power BI and Excel; ability to mock up visuals and reports.
β’ Solid understanding of SQL and data analysis.
β’ Experience with process mapping, data profiling, and data documentation.
β’ Knowledge of BI concepts such as dimensional modeling, facts/dimensions, and star schema.
β’ Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills.
β’ Clear and concise written and verbal communication, able to bridge business and technical teams.
