Role description
Position: Data Analyst
Location: Chicago IL 60604
Duration: 06 months (possible extension)
Pay Rate: $60/hr W2
Job Requirements:
Required expertise: Power BI, SQL and Databricks.
Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support analytics, self-service reporting, and data quality controls.
Build and manage Databricks notebooks, Delta tables, and data pipelines for transforming large datasets into curated analytical datasets.
Lead development, enhancement, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models for executive and operational stakeholders.
Collaborate with business SMEs to translate requirements into scalable data models, KPIs, and documentation across finance and operations use cases.
Perform advanced data profiling, validation, and reconciliation across source systems, ensuring accuracy, performance, and adherence to governance standards.
Provide SME-level guidance, code review, and best practices coaching in Power BI, SQL, and Databricks to internal analytics teams.
