Responsibilities
Kforce has a client seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst 3 in Redmond, WA. Purpose of the Team: The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications. Key Projects:
β’ Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
β’ Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
β’ Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
β’ Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
β’ Supports one or more highly complex business processes
β’ Works on multiple projects as a project team member
β’ Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required; MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
β’ 5-7 years of experience required
β’ Basic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions
β’ Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage
β’ Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
β’ Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
β’ Ability to solve technical problems/processes and understand complex details
β’ Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions
β’ A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
Best vs. Average:
β’ Experience combining data analytics with supply chain operations (hybrid profile strongly preferred)
β’ Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including ability to work with complex datasets
β’ Ability to work in ambiguity and learn quickly in a fast moving environment
β’ Experience supporting supply chain operations (e.g., supply chain data, reporting, master data, or process analysis) in combination with data analytics; Hybrid data + supply chain background strongly preferred
β’ Clear communication skills; Able to articulate prior work and analytical approach
Disqualifiers
β’ Unable to work PST core business hours (role defaults to PST expectations)
β’ Lacks ability to work in ambiguity or demonstrates a slow learning curve in fast moving environments
β’ Data only background with no supply chain experience (role requires hybrid exposure to both data and supply chain concepts)
β’ Not having their full 18-month of tenure
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
