Business Intelligence Analyst (Finance) Contract | Outside IR35 | Remote (UK) | US Timezone Hours (non negiotble) You must have a background in finance or experience in financial reporting to be considered for this role. £275 P/D Outside IR35 - £ month gig that will extend A well-established professional body within the finance and accounting sector is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join on an initial contract basis. This is a delivery-focused role for a data professional who can translate raw data into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will take ownership of the full reporting cycle: understanding the business question, sourcing and interrogating the data, and producing reports that inform decision-making at a senior level. Key Responsibilities • Transform raw data into insightful, well-structured Power BI reports • Write and optimise SQL to extract, model and validate data • Engage directly with stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical deliverables • Work autonomously and in an agile manner, iterating and improving output without close supervision Essential Skills and Experience • Strong command of SQL and Power BI • Proven ability to convert stakeholder requirements into technical solutions • Confident, self-directed working style • Availability to work US timezone hours Desirable • A background in finance or experience in financial reporting Contract Details • Rate: up to £275 per day, outside IR35 • Duration: [3 months, with likely extension] • Location: Remote (UK based) If you have all of the above skills and experience, please apply for a rapid response.
