Business Intelligence Analyst

Power BI Developer / BI Analyst Location: Hybrid – Franklin, TN (Nashville area) | 4 days on-site Type: 12+ month contract Overview We are seeking a Power BI Developer / BI Analyst to support business intelligence initiatives through advanced reporting, dashboard development, and data analysis. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into impactful visualizations and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Design and Develop BI Solutions • Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions • Create visualizations and analytics tools using Power BI, Tableau, and SAP Business Objects • Collaborate with team members to design user-focused reporting solutions Data Analysis and Insight Generation • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities • Generate actionable insights that support business strategy and operational improvements Data Integration and Management • Extract, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources including Snowflake and SAP Business Objects • Work cross-functionally to structure and store data within data warehouses, data marts, or data lakes Reporting and Dashboard Development • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools • Ensure business users have access to accurate, timely reporting Requirements Gathering and Process Improvement • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and improve reporting processes • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance reporting capabilities Testing and Iterative Development • Conduct end-user testing and troubleshoot BI solutions • Support continuous improvement through iterative development cycles Documentation and Data Governance • Maintain documentation for data definitions, processes, and business terminology • Support governance initiatives through data glossaries and documentation standards Project and Task Management • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Required Qualifications • 1–2+ years of hands-on experience building reports and dashboards using Power BI • 3+ years of experience with: • KPI / performance scorecard dashboards • Data-driven business analytics • SQL development including tables and views supporting automated reporting • Designing effective data visualizations • Intermediate to advanced SQL and relational database experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or Business Technology Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Python • Experience with ETL tools, self-service analytics applications, or web development • Background in Business, Purchasing, Finance, or Marketing analytics • Automotive industry or automotive parts experience • Master’s degree in a related field • Experience with tools such as Snowflake, SAP Business Objects, Tableau • Proficiency with Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
