About the Role: As a BI/Data Analyst, you will own the end-to-end data needs of the BI team, playing a crucial role in shaping initiatives from the ground up. You will ensure that all projects are "trackable" from day one, manage benefits tracking, and provide data-driven insights that will inform key deliverables, including the SteerCo Deck. Key Accountabilities: • Own KPI Definition: Define and report on key performance indicators across various initiatives. • Track Performance: Monitor initiative performance and quantify the realized benefits against the initial plan. • Build a Data Catalogue: Collaborate with the specialist team to create a data catalogue that empowers self-serving insights. • Ensure Data Quality: Maintain data quality, auditability, and consistency in SteerCo and FO packs. • Interface with Finance: Act as the bridge between Finance’s efficiency benefits model and operational delivery data. Deliverables: • Monthly business information reporting linked to BI initiatives. • Monthly initiative benefits report detailing value delivered versus forecast. • Data extracts and dashboards to support pilots, impact assessments, and SteerCo requests. Capabilities Required: • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills. • Ability to tell compelling stories with data. • Proficiency in data extraction and manipulation using SQL, Excel, and data modelling. • Understanding of operational performance metrics and cost drivers. • High attention to detail with the ability to simplify complex data. • Ability to work at pace in an ambiguous transformation environment.
