Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst (Contract) Company: Big Four Client Location: Remote (Working EST hours) Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder Pay Rate: Up to $62 per hour (W2), depending on experience Duration: 5+ Months Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Big Four client’s team for a five-month, fully remote position. The successful candidate will support our client’s enterprise value realization framework, with a focus on technical and data integration activities, detailed solution designs, and data implementations. You will utilize your expertise in PostgreSQL, Power BI, and data transformation to deliver meaningful analytics and reporting. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Enterprise Value Realization Support: β€’ Participate in activities supporting enterprise value realization framework, focusing on both data and technical integration elements as well as detailed data solution designs and implementations. β€’ Third-Party Tools & Data Models: β€’ Work with a variety of third-party platforms and tools; gain a quick understanding of existing data models and system architecture. β€’ SQL Development (PostgreSQL): β€’ Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL β€’ Extract, aggregate, and transform large datasets from multiple sources β€’ Create custom tables, views, procedures, and functions to support business reporting needs β€’ Power BI Reporting: β€’ Develop modern, intuitive dashboards and reports with Power BI β€’ Connect Power BI to PostgreSQL to build robust data models and relationships β€’ Implement advanced Power BI features such as custom filters, drilldowns, and bookmarks to augment reporting and user experience β€’ Data Quality & Integration: β€’ Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple source tables β€’ Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the transformation and reporting process Required Skills & Qualifications: β€’ Experience: β€’ 3+ years professional experience in a Data Analyst or Data Engineering role β€’ Demonstrated proficiency with PostgreSQL and advanced SQL query development β€’ Strong hands-on experience working with Power BI, including report publishing, dashboard creation, and DAX functions β€’ Proven track record of integrating and manipulating data from multiple third-party tools and systems β€’ Technical Skills: β€’ Expertise in SQL (especially PostgreSQL) β€’ Power BI dashboard development, data model and relationship management β€’ Experience creating tables, views, stored procedures, and handling large datasets β€’ Understanding of data validation, cleaning, and transformation best practices β€’ Other Skills: β€’ Ability to work independently in a remote environment β€’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills β€’ Strong verbal and written communication skills β€’ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Preferred Skills & Qualifications: β€’ Familiarity with ETL tools and workflows β€’ Experience in enterprise-level data integration projects β€’ Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
