Role description
Seeking a senior PowerBI Dashboard Developer with DAX, Power Query, data modeling) to support a Customer Experience (CX) Analytics team. You'll be working with Adobe and Google web Analytic datasets, creating dashboards for our client, a global SaaS firm located downtown SF (right across from a BART stop). Seeking 5+ years experience as a PowerBI super user preferably with strong stakeholder communications.

β’ β€ Capstone contributes $250/month towards your medical premium when you participate in our employer plan (many Blue Shield/Kaiser plans to select from). Dental plans and a Roth IRA are available. Sick/PTO is earned depending on your locale.
Weβre looking for an experienced and detail-oriented analyst to work closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, and cross-functional partners leveraging your expertise in Power BI, SQL, and web analytics to design and deliver high-quality dashboards, reporting solutions, and insights that enable data-driven decision making. You will understand and translate business needs into scalable data solutions, ensuring business stakeholders can act on clear, accurate, and actionable insights. This is a Hybrid role based in downtown San Francisco.
Minimum Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related).
β’ 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles.
β’ Proven expertise in Power BI (including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling).
β’ Proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and validating large datasets.
β’ Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into business-friendly insights.
β’ Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholder expectations.
β’ Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).

Responsibilities:
β’ Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver scalable solutions.
β’ Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to track KPIs, monitor performance, and surface insights across the digital customer lifecycle.
β’ Perform deep-dive analyses on customer behavior and business performance, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
β’ Ensure data integrity and reliability by working with data engineering and IT teams on data pipelines, new data system integrations, and validation processes.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert in Power BI, providing guidance, training, and support to business teams.
β’ Communicate insights effectively through data storytelling, presentations, and visualizations that influence strategy and operations.
β’ Build and manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leaders, to align on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
β’ Support ongoing automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
