Business Operations Specialist Work Location: New York, NY, USA Work Schedule: Fully Onsite Job Type: W2 Contract - 12 months Pay Rate: $68.00 - $70.00 per hour A Business Operations Specialist supports non?IT initiatives by managing vendor relationships, performing business analysis, and assisting with project management activities such as tracking goals, timelines, metrics, and budgets. Typically reporting to a Project Manager or Director, this role operates between administrative and management levels. We are seeking a contractor with 5–7 years of experience in SQL-driven analytics, data visualization, dashboard creation, and cross?functional collaboration. This role will lead the development of revenue and ads performance dashboards and support ongoing ETL process maintenance, working closely with Sales to translate business needs into actionable insights. Top Skills • Data visualization • SQL or Python • Data ETL management Key Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities • Build and maintain revenue and ads insights dashboards, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with business needs. • Work closely with Sales teams to bring insights and ideas to life. Secondary Responsibilities • Understand business logic and assist with maintaining complex ETL workflows, ensuring code quality and process efficiency. Additional Responsibilities • Translate business context and insights into actionable visualizations. • Develop dashboards to support strategic initiatives and operational workflows. • Perform data transformation to support reporting platforms and data warehouses. • Monitor, test, and maintain ETL processes to ensure error-free data pipelines. • Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support organizational goals. • Prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications • 5–7 years in data visualization, dashboarding, and SQL for analysis. • Required: Intermediate to advanced SQL proficiency. • Nice to Have: 1–2 years of Python experience for data analysis. • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, DOMO, or Amazon QuickSight. • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field.
